Job Description

At STEM Recruitment Solutions we are working with our client who are looking to recruit an Operations Technician for their Stirling site.Main Responsibilities:

  • Product servicing and maintenance.
  • Performing minor product repair activities.
  • Electronics debug activities for customer return units with support from electronics design engineers and product development technicians.
  • Test and measurement of electronics and systems using engineering tools (including oscilloscope, DMM, Hi-pot tester, temperature calibrators).
  • Build, verification and maintenance of test fixtures for use in product servicing/repair.
  • Service area maintenance and improvement, including equipment specification, maintenance and calibration.
  • Supporting QA investigations relating to processes, manufacturing or customer returns.
  • Documenting fault-finding/root cause analysis for customer return units.
  • Supporting QA through service area inventory control.
  • Working within the Operations team too steamline existing and develop new work practices in production, servicing and repair.
  • Working with the product development team to introduce and streamline the processes and equipment needed for new products production, servicing, and repair
  • Define the maintenance requirements of test fixtures and equipment used in service or repair.
  • Generating and introducing product disassembly, repair and servicing documentation in compliance with quality standards.
