Job Description

Vacancy: Permanent Payroll AdministratorSalary: £23,000 - £25,000 + excellent benefitsLocation: SteppsWorking days: Monday - FridayWorking hours: 9am-5pm (flexible)My client, based in Stepps, Glasgow is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their busy and successful team. This is a very exciting opportunity to join a busy, fun and friendly team. We are looking for someone with a confident knowledge of payroll, please read below for more information;Job role

  • Processing payroll for a portfolio of clients on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Dealing with all new starters and leavers for your portfolio of clients
  • Processing all statutory requirements, including PAYE, National Insurance contributions, SSP, SMP, SPP
  • Knowledge of Auto-enrolment and Furlough processes
  • Building relationships with your client base and providing excellent customer service
  • Answering payroll questions and queries
  • Understanding of the full end to end payroll experience
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines and work well in busy times
  • Requirements
  • Knowledge running multiple payrolls would be great but not essential
  • Excellent IT skills and understanding of Excel
  • Sage experience preferred but again not essential
  • Team player
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to do a great job and provide the best of service
  • Please note that this job if a full time permanent position but due to the current climate you will be working from home.
