Vacancy - Stepps, G33As a Modern Apprentice, you will be employed full time by a Private Nursery as close to your home as possible. The job role would require you to be part of a proactive and responsible staff team. You will be involved in planning and setting up activities to help children with their learning, development and growth in a stimulating environment.You will also be responsible for the safety and day to day care of babies and young children where they are supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential.The apprenticeship takes approximately 15-18 months to complete. Upon completion of the course, you will qualify with a SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF Level 7.Essential Criteria:No experience is necessary, however good communication skills and a genuine desire to work with children are essential.Applicants must be aged 16-19 to receive funding from Skills Development Scotland.We can also access funding for applicants aged 20-29 if you are disabled/care experienced and first-time entrants to any Modern Apprenticeship Programme.
