Job Description

The Role:IT Infrastructure Engineer - Competitive Salary + Bonus + Hybrid WorkAs an IT Infrastructure Engineer you will monitor, support and improve all IT network and server infrastructure as well as leading on all future IT upgrade projects and automation initiatives. Maintain and manage core network infrastructure/Server Environment
Provide support for IT Services, working together with other IT Team members for efficient diagnosis and resolution
Keep the IT Infrastructure secure and compliant to industry standards
Automate IT Services where applicable to improve system resiliency
Continuously analyse, document and improve current IT Infrastructure and Services
Work with end users to ensure systems are fit for purpose
Liaise with 3rd party suppliers and vendors to implement system changes for various critical systems
Promote the use of the Service desk software and log all support calls in line with the ITIL framework.
Provide remote support on when on call
Assist in the maintenance of factory equipment

You Should Have:

At least two years IT Support experience
Excellent analytical skills
Working knowledge of SQL
Proven understanding of PC architecture and components.
Proven network administration experience including firewalls, network infrastructure, subnetting and routing
Proven understanding of networking protocols such as DNS and DHCP
Proven experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems includingMicrosoft Server 2012 onwards
Proven Experience managing VMware vSphere
Working Knowledge of Linux operating systems
Proven experience supporting users of Microsoft Office 365
Understanding of the ITIL framework
Full Driving License
