Job Description

A Secondary school located in Stanstead, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic team. Whether you are a newly qualified teacher (NQT) or an early career teacher (ECT), we welcome applications from individuals who areenthusiastic about inspiring young minds and fostering a love for science.Position: Science Teacher Location: Stanstead Contract Type: Full-time, PermanentResponsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and interactive science lessons to students, ensuring a stimulating learning experience.
Teach across key stages, incorporating a range of teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse learning needs.
Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes active participation and scientific inquiry.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing interventions where necessary.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver a cohesive and innovative science curriculum.
Utilize technology and practical experiments to enhance students understanding of scientific concepts.
Support and guide students in their scientific investigations and experiments.
Promote a culture of scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Degree in a Science-related discipline.
Strong subject knowledge across the science curriculum.
Passion for science and a desire to inspire students interest in the subject.
Effective communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of the latest scientific developments.
NQTs or ECTs are encouraged to apply.
