Job Description

Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Personalized Development FocusWe are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our School. As an LSA, you will be instrumental in providing personalized support to students, empowering them to overcome barriers and achieve personal growth.Your commitment to individualized development will be invaluable in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students, addressing their specific needs and challenges.
  • Foster a nurturing and supportive relationship with students, promoting self-confidence and self-esteem.
  • Collaborate with teachers and therapists to develop and implement personalized learning strategies.
  • Assist in the implementation of behavior management plans and social skills development.
  • Encourage and motivate students to participate in classroom activities and engage with peers.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in special education, counseling, or related fields.
  • Understanding of diverse learning and developmental needs.
  • Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude towards supporting students personal growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing needs.
