Trainee Structural Carpenter-Plotform Ltd are a Midlands based company that specialises in installing timber frame, SIPS, Glulam and cross laminated timber structures. We also undertake some general carpentry contracts.We can provide anything from bespoke self-builds, to onsite-manufactured structures. Projects include hotels, schools, self-builds and commercial housing in all areas of the UK. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working individual with the flexibility to work on a range of projects. A willingness to work away from home on occasions is also a requirement. (Accommodation and food allowance would be covered in this instance).The successful candidate will receive appropriate training and support to enable them to grow with our business, and work towards becoming a qualified supervisor. They will operate on a self-employed basis, and be paid for an 8 hour on site day. They will require their own tools, but Plotform will provide specialist tooling such as hammer drill, site laser level, and ballistic nail guns.
