ArchitectRef: ARSStafford Can be a hybrid role 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from homeJOB DUTIES:-This is a new position, due to promotionWe are seeking an experienced Architect who can provide examples of projects within a strong portfolio, commercial onlyIdeally 3 years experienceDesigning and managing architectural design projects from inception to completionAssisting other architectural staff as required and assist with the co-ordination of the contributions of all members of the multi disciplinary design teams.Assisting with the promotion and development of the highest quality of design and constructional standards of building with particular emphasis on value for moneyVery occasional visits to site may be requiredAssisting with the implementation if the companys health and safety policy statement including risk assessment proceduresREQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:- Registered Architect status or Technologist registered as MCIT or equivalent ideallyPossess a sound grasp of building design and construction and construction cost planningAwareness of new innovative procurement and construction techniques (especially in new zero carbon initiatives), construction contracts, current legislation, statutory and regulatory requirements relating to propertyExperience in a professional private sector (architectural) office or in a local authorityAutoCAD and Revit software along with associated 3D visualisation rendering packages and NBS experienceExperience in one of these education design, public buildings, healthcare, blue lightsBENEFITS:-Salary £38,500 to £50,500 per annum dependent upon experience23 Days Holidays + Stats, rising to 27 with serviceFree Gym membershipSubsidised meals on siteFree parkingFully paid volunteer daysLife insuranceCycle to work schemeRetail, socialising, travel discountsPromotional prospects
