Senior Developer - PHP, Javascript, React JS, AWSThe opportunityI am delighted to say that a client that I have worked with since I first joined Reed over 12 years ago, have asked me to help to recruit for their ever-expanding development team.When I first started working with this business, they had one floor of a shared office, but I could see they had clear plans for success. Today they have 2 separate multi floored offices in the UK, not to mention their Global expansion with offices in Germany,Asia and the USA.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company where technology is vital in all they do and where innovation and new ideas are actively encouraged.As their Senior Developer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, internal and external facing. Their tech stack allows them to use the most appropriate technology for the project while allowing them to use continuous deploymentand improvement processes to see projects through to deployment and beyond.They are working remotely but they would like you to be able to get to their Midlands office, ideally once a week (But this can be negotiated)Key duties as the Senior Developer are:* Developing clean code, working as both part of a team and one your own* Working on Greenfield projects, building new systems using the latest technologies* Making sure that all sites are fully responsive* Delivering backend services for web-based systemsUsing continuous development practices in a collaborative way to improve project delivery speed.Essential skills/ experience needed as the Senior Developer include:* Proven experience in PHP, HTML, CSS and Javascript* Strong experience in both website and software development* Experience using React JS* The passion and desire to keep learning the latest technologiesDesirable skills as the Senior Developer: Working knowledge of GraphQL, NodeJS, Laravel, SCSS, React Apps. Knowledge of cloud technology such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud.
