We are in the process of transforming the way we use data to drive improvement in the NHS. We want to hear from people who cantransformdata into Business Intelligence; who can lead the development and implementation of PersonLevel Costing; who can seehow Business Intelligence and PersonLevel Costing candrive transformation in the NHS; who understands how BI can be used to identify opportunities for improvement.We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual as Senior Analyst within our Business Intelligence team working on the design, development and implementation of a Trustwide Person Level Information and Costing System (PLICS).Working to the Principal Analyst, this role will support delivery in line with theTrust’s Long Term Costing Strategy. As an identified lead for PLICS, a key element of the role will be to engage with clinical and operational leaders on the development and rollout of PLICS across the whole organisation.Working to relevant NHS Data Dictionary standards, NHS Financial Standards and local data definitions these roles will be responsible for the co-ordination of the production, development and promotion of a range ofPLICS related information services across the whole of MPFT.This will include the development of dashboards for reporting information to Care GroupsThe post holder will be expected to provide senior expertise, advice and guidance onPLICS related matters as well as the development of health-related data sets and reporting/returns for NHS statutory/regulatory bodies.In line with current MPFT policy, this post will largely work from home until the Covid restrictions allow the post holder to travel across Staffordshire and Shropshire in the course of their duties.More details of the role and all essential requirements are outlined in the Job Description and Person Specification.For an informal discussion or to find out more, please contact Alex.Critchell@mpft.nhs.uk
