Job Description

Regional Property Manager | In-house Projects

  • Client side co-ordination role
  • North Midlands / Staffordshire regional remitHome based.
Established and successful retail / leisure operator is seeking to recruit a versatile Regional Property Manager to oversee a key division within their North Midlands / Staffordshire region operations.With an extensive portfolio, the business is embarking on an exciting period of investment and improvement. In a continually evolving marketplace, the business works to strategically manage, develop and enhance their property assets with an aim to providethe best customer experience.This role is key to their continued success, driving forward commercial returns through their property assets with the over-arching responsibility to deliver a project programme and proactively manage portfolio maintenance.The focus of the role will be to devise and deliver successful investment and project improvement programmes in partnership with the operational senior management. Key activity:
  • Take responsibility for capex budgets and repair budgets.
  • Ensure all projects are delivery on time, to budget and to a high standard
  • Pre-empt a strategy of onward management and a maintenance strategy across the portfolio
  • Hold responsibility for statutory compliance across the region
  • Develop the current team through effective management
  • Strategically manage the designers and contractors for seamless project delivery
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a client-side property role in a highly consumer facing industry. You will have a proven track-record of delivering capex and refurbishment based property investment. This project emphasis will needto be supported with an ability to manage dilapidations and develop maintenance strategies to protect a wide-ranging property portfolio. Core experience:
  • Technical experience in a multi-site property role as a building surveyor, estate manager or project manager
  • Experience of budgetary & financial cost control
  • Up to date knowledge of statutory compliance legislation
  • An innovative and pro-active approach to project delivery
  • Ideally RICS or CIOB Building Surveyor / Estate Manager qualifications.
