£35,000 - £42,000 p/a | 37.5 Hour Contract - Days | Great BenefitsAn exciting opportunity has arisen in a Staffordshire hospital for an experienced Diagnostic Radiographer with management experience to work as Radiology Manager.The Radiology and Imaging department offers a range of clinical services and has recently invested in several state-of-the-art technologies to ensure the best possible patient experience.Details of this Radiology Manager position and what the hospital is offering:

  • 37.5 hours per week on a permanent contract, working flexible day shifts over a 7 day rota
  • A competitive annual salary in the region of £35,000 to £42,000 depending on experience

    • As Radiology Manager, your duties will entail providing clinical leadership and direction to the Radiology and Imaging team with a focus on quality of care and customer service. You will also work closely with the Senior Management Team to monitor and evaluate service delivery, manage budgets and resources and ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety.Applicants for this Radiology Manager post should meet the following criteria:
  • HCPC Registered Diagnostic Radiographer and have completed a recognised management qualification and an approved Radiation Protection Supervisors qualification
  • At least 2 years management/leadership experience a radiology department, with substantial clinical experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Positive, proactive leadership style with the ability to motivate and lead a strong team and experienced in HR management
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills
  • The ability to analyse and interpret data and make sound, informed decisions
  • Awareness of budgetary and financial management systems and processes in the private healthcare sector and commercially focused
