Probation Service Officer Location - Staffordshire Working hours - 37 hours per week (Temporary Contract) Pay rate - £18 - £20.07 (Depending on experience) An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Probation Service Officer with Adult caseworker experience. Job details - As a caseworker in the pan-Staffordshire Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Service, you will be responsible for case managing clients who have been referred or self-referred on a non-statutory, voluntary basis to domestic abuse perpetrator programmes. Such programmesare available to men, young people, women, LGBTQ which offers a unique opportunity within RRP to work with domestic abuse perpetrators from a range of communities and cultures. This can be male or female, in hetero-sexual or same sex relationships includingchild to parent abuse The role will require developing positive relationships with service users to addresses issues of motivation and resistance, ensure effective exchange of information, management of risk, action planning and reviewing, and clear lines of communication and accountabilityfor individual cases. Integrated working with the DA Victim service provider is essential to ensure short and effective communication lines through the Individual Support Service (ISS) to enhance risk management/risk coordination and information sharing.
