JOB AD:[CONTRACT] Manufacturing OperatorLocation: StaffordDuration: 3 MonthsStart Date: ASAPA client based in Stafford is looking for a Manufacturing Operator for an initial 3-month contract.He candidate will be working as part of the manufacturing team to ensure the assembly of products to meet daily targets whilst maintaining the required quality standards, ensuring assembly and inspection is carried out using the correct tools, current build,and correct process documentation.Manufacturing Operator:Ensure Production Target achieved, this may require shift requirements.Responsible for the build quality of the product, in-line with the standard operating instructions.Responsible for the routine maintenance / cleaning of the workstationCheck to ensure all equipment is compliant - BV Inspections, Calibration, PATAs & when required support any other duties that may be required to support the manufacturing facilityCarry out 5S inspectionsEnsure EHS best practice and fully align to GE EHSSkills5 years experience in the light mechanical assembly environment or similar.The ability to work and communicate as part of a team.Understanding of Lean manufacturing techniques would be advantageousUnderstanding of Kanban & Flow / Pull Techniques would be advantageousMechanical/Electrical aptitude would be advantageousRequires manual handling and ergonomics knowledge.Able to work to standard written operative procedures in an autonomous manner
