A new and exciting opportunity has come about for a Manufacturing Operator to join our client, who is a global leading professional services company located in Stafford on a Temporary basis.Role: Manufacturing Operator Location: StaffordDuration: 12 WeeksPosition Background:To work as part of the manufacturing team to ensure the assembly of products to meet daily targets whilst maintaining the required quality standards, ensuring assembly and inspection is carried out using the correct tools, current build, and correct processdocumentation.Key Accountabilityso Targets achieved in according with set dates, this may require adapting shifts. o Ensure the quality of the product is built, in-line with the standard operating instructions.o Responsible for the routine maintenance / cleaning of the workstation.o Ensure all equipment is compliant - BV Inspections, Calibration, PATo Carry out 5S inspectionsSkills and Experience:* Have excellent communication skills when liaising with a team.* Understanding of Lean manufacturing techniques would be advantageous* Understanding of Kanban & Flow / Pull Techniques would be advantageous* Mechanical/Electrical aptitude would be advantageous* Requires manual handling and ergonomics knowledge.* Able to work to standard written operative procedures in an autonomous mannerFor more information and immediate consideration please apply directly to this advertSpring Engineering Solutions (a trading name of Roevin Management Services Limited) acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
