Job Description

Management AccountantJob Type: Full timeSalary: £30,000 - £32,000Location: Based at head office, Stafford.We are seeking an enthusiastic person assist the Finance Manager with timely financial and statistical reports for management and/or Board use ensuring that accounting, budget, tax, and audit activities operate with control and within standards. To analyse and interpret financial data to make recommendations to the finance manager for system improvement and financial performance.About UsWestgate are market leaders in the design, supply and installation of factory and warehouse partitions, screens and industrial doors, and construction and fit out hoarding screens and welfare facilities.   • Experience with MS Dynamics NAV or equivalent, and Business Intelligence
  • Two to four years of experience in a similar position
    • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the production of financial, budget and accounting information.
  • Participate in the preparation of various financial statements and legislative reports i.e., P11Ds, EC Sales, Vat returns and Intrastat.
  • Assist in the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, operating expenses, and insurance records.
  • Participate in cost analyses and rate studies.
  • Participate in internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the company budget.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the company cashflow.
  • Assist in the development of system and business processes surrounding the finance function.
  • Participate bank reconciliation and control account reconciliation.
  • Oversee intercompany recharges.
  • Process designated accounts inbox designated tasks in a timely manner
    • Skills:
  • A flair for numbers and ability to produce accurate work.
  • Advanced excel skills for analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Presentation skills in view of presenting and explaining some financial reports.
