Job Description

Do you want to be a part of the inevitable rise of renewable energiesAs a Lead Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering designs into cutting edge protection and control hardware platforms, such as high efficiency, compact PSUs of up to 65W, FPGA / SOC based solutions for DSP filtering, communicationscontrollers and highspeed processing interfaces. Does this sound like youRole Responsibilities:

  • Development of hardware for transmission / distribution protection products
  • Develop power supply topologies, electro-magnetic and transformers
  • Resolve EMC issues at product and system levels
  • Design for manufacturing/assembly
  • EMC designing
Your experience:
  • Good knowledge of main communications technologies
  • Good understanding of theory of EMC
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and design techniques
  • Good knowledge of architectural trends of microprocessors and DSPs
  • Experience in design and development of safety critical products and applications, to IEC61508 standard
Your qualifications:
  • Degree in software engineering or relevant qualification or equivalent experience
  • Power Supply Design experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience
