Offering breadth & opportunity to engage in various aspects of our work.Temporarily your direct customer-facing piece is conducted digitally & by phone. As the world gradually opens-up, requirement to travel will develop, eventually being anything up to 20 weeks per year away from home. Travelling blocks no longer than 2 weeksat a time.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: International Project Engineer / Chemicals Project Engineer - Mechanical / ElectricalThe Front-End Engineering Design Studies will include creation of documentation & tasks including: Process Flow Drawings (PFDs) Plant Capacity Calculations Mass Balance Drawings P&IDs Plant Layouts General Arrangement Drawings Utilities Requirements HAZOP studies Controls & Automation philosophy Interpretation & development of Client design requirements for bid process & contract stageTender Package and Specifications requiring creation of the following: Tender Work Packages Equipment Specifications Supplier meetings & selectionInstallation & Commissioning requiring creation of documentation & related activities: - Producing FAT & SAT documents Producing Installation & Commissioning schedules Completing commissioning checks Coordinating training for end user Manage sub-contractors & main suppliers; supervision of installation & commissioning of plant & equipment. Planning and scheduling of equipment to site Hand over and training of the clients operatorsPERSON SPECIFICATION: International Project Engineer / Chemicals Project Engineer - Mechanical / ElectricalYou will have the following characteristics & experiences: Formal qualification in any relevant engineering discipline Previous track record of hands-on project engineering experience in related industry Chemical Industry process knowledge, understanding & ability to convert to design and specs AutoCAD Inventor (minimum 2D AutoCAD proficient), mechanical and P&ID experience Report writing & presentation skills Experience of Microsoft Project Knowledge of pipe work, pumps, valves, platforms, powder handling, liquid handling systems Flexible approach to work; able to work weekends & shutdowns as requiredTHE COMPANY:We are a stable, internationally-renowned enterprise with a long heritage of quality in innovation leadership and operations across several continents.
