Cover Supervision is a great stepping stone into working as a teacher.The Role of a Cover SupervisorA successful Cover Supervisor will be required to work in this secondary school delivering high quality pre-planned lessons to groups of 11-18 year old pupils.Work will be pre-planned by the classroom teacher within school and you will be expected to deliver to students, manage behaviour and provide feedback to relevant people within school.What qualifications do I needTo be a successful Cover Supervisor we look for experience of 20 days or more working with children and/or young people. This role is a great stepping stone to get into a career in teaching.Successful Cover Supervisors come from a variety of backgrounds including:Sports CoachesYouth WorkersCamp AmericaFootball CoachingDance TeacherSchool placementsVoluntary workScout leaderPay and remuneration:A Cover Supervisor can expect to be paid between £64 - £80 per day.
