Engineering Manager - Electrical Design (Control Panels)Spring Engineering are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our clients team based in Stafford. Location: StaffordHours: 37 per weekContract: 6 months (potential to be extended)Our client are market leaders providing services within the electrical machinery industry. They design Local Control Cubicles (LCC) and Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS) for their clients within the European Market. The role:- Managing a small team of Senior and Junior Electrical Design and CAD Engineers- Assist in the development of standard electrical and mechanical design of Local Control Cubicle (LCC) for 400kV, 275kV, 132kV and 66kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) suitable for the European market- Ensuring that the LCC meets the European client specifications and provide the correct functionality required to deliver the standard solution within budget- Managing project budgets to ensure the smooth running of the projectDesirable Requirements:- Detailed knowledge and experience of designing switchgear control panels and working with suppliers- Strong technical report writing and documentation skills- Electrical Design experience using CAD If this is of interest to you and you believe you have the suitable experience, we would love to hear from you.Please click the APPLY button below and if successful, one of our consultants will give you a call to discuss next steps.
