Job Description

If this sounds like you, please read on to find out more about the Customer Experience Manager opportunity role based in Stafford.What impact will you have in this roleThis role is working with Abrasives in our head office based in Stafford on a permanent basis as a Customer Experience Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in customer acquisition, re-engagement and retention strategies.You will be data driven and process oriented with strong experience in developing customer-facing user interfaces and a good understanding of implementing Salesforce Cloud. A self-starter and strong communicator across all key stakeholders from leadership team to customer service team members, you will have the natural ability to collaborate and influence team members to achieve individual and business goals.In the role as Customer Experience Manager you will:

  • Develop, enhance and digitise existing processes to drive efficiency and end to end customer experience for increasing customer advocacy, encouraging customer retention and improving customer loyalty.
  • Lead the implementation of CRM system (such as Salesforce) across EMEA and work closely with all departments to ensure that CRM captures all required information at key points in the customer life cycle and works effectively for all aspects of the business.
  • Build strong stakeholder network across EMEA including with sales and marketing team to align all customer centric activities to achieve business goal of profitable growth.
  • Align existing Business and SAP process, Pricing management and hierarchy, and drive improvement of various day-2-day activities such as Order Entry Automation, Quotation Reactivity, Complaint Reactivity Automation, Pricing Harmonisation and expediting shipment information to customers.

  • EMEA or wider European customer service management experience.
  • Previous experience in a medium or large manufacturing, distribution or retail business (qualifying around 100m.)
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Experience with NPS.
  • Strong background in customer acquisition, re-engagement and retention strategies.
  • Strong admin and computer skills, with the confidence to learn new systems and databases quickly such as Salesforce and SAP.
  • Willing to be flexible with travel.
