We are working with a growing MSP who are seeking an IT Service Desk Analyst to support with 1st / 2nd Line Support within a busy Service Desk. With clear career progression into 3rd Line and Security on the horizon. This is a great opportunity for someonewith previous experience working on a Service Desk to take the next step in their career. What will you be doing as an IT Service Desk Analyst:* To respond to day-to-day queries related to system issues, performance, user requests/queries, web and email services via telephone, email and the ITSM Ticketing Platform* Managing 1st / 2nd Line Tickets and escalating tickets to 3rd line if needed* Install and support hardware components including laptops, monitors and mobile devices* Manage workstations and laptops via SCCM and other remote connectivity tools* Work within an ITIL framework to address issues transparently to ensure operations SLAs are met.* Develop existing customer relationships and build a rapport with stakeholders* Be a Team Player and take responsibility for flagging high priority calls* Document procedures/processes and contribute to the knowledgebase of the teamWhat experience should you have* You will have previous experience within an IT role, supporting existing desktop/server infrastructures* Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office, desktop/laptop set-up, configuration and fault diagnosis, web and email security and antivirus software would be beneficial* You will have a keen interest and enthusiasm for technology* Provide exceptional customer service* Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal* Ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detailIt would be beneficial but not essential to have experience in;* Exchange 2016* Windows Server* Microsoft SCCM/Intune* Mobility Software - MDM, iOS* Basic Active Directory Administration* Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop* Microsoft Remote Desktop Services* Corporate wireless systemsWhat will you get in return * Basic salary of £27,000 + quarterly bonus* Hybrid working environment (2 - 3 days on site in central Bristol)* Continuous development and qualifications* Career progression* 25 days + bank holiday increasing with serviceThis role is based in Bristol and is commutable from Weston-Super-Mare, Bath, Chippenham, Yate and Thornbury.If you feel you match the above click apply now with an up to date version of you CV.
