Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Care Worker in Weston-Super-Mare and the surrounding area.Duties and responsibilities include:

Assist service users with personal care, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting.

Perform housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens and laundry.

Assisting service users with their medication needs.

Assist in the safe handling, transferring, re-positioning and movement of service users.

Providing a shopping and or cleaning service if needed by the service user. Spot checks on carers.

Conduct staff supervisions.

Complete and update service user assessments.

Work effectively with Service Users, their families and representatives, other social and health care professionals, managers, and staff from Nursing solutions to deliver high quality homecare services

Attend training activities, appraisals, and development meetings.

Knowledge of how to recognise abuse and safeguarding procedures

To support the manager and deputy manager to implement projects and filter messages to the staff team.

Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check

Have a current UK driving licence and have a vehicle available for work purposes
