Job Description

Job Title: Special Education Teaching AssistantLocation: NorwichAbout the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Special Education Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing support to our special education students and ensuring theiracademic success.Responsibilities:• Assist the special education teacher in the implementation of education plans (EHCP’s)• Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs in the classroom.• Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to ensure students receive appropriate services and accommodations.• Help students with daily living skills, including personal care and socialisation.• Monitor students’ progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents.• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.Requirements:• High school diploma or equivalent• Previous experience working with special needs students is preferred.• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills• Ability to work well as part of a team and maintain a positive and professional demeanour.• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support students with special needs.If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of special needs students, we encourage you to apply.
