Job Description

SEN Teaching AssistantWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant at our school in Norwich. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to students with special educational needs, helping them to accessthe curriculum and succeed in their studies.Key responsibilities: Assist teachers in the delivery of the curriculum, including lesson planning and preparation Work one-on-one with students or in small groups to support their learning and development Help students with special needs to manage their behaviour and stay on track in class Communicate with parents, teachers, and other members of the education team to ensure that students receive the best possible support Keep accurate records and make observations to help teachers monitor and evaluate student progressQualifications and experience: A relevant qualification in SEN teaching or a related field Experience working with students with special educational needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a teamIf you are passionate about helping students with special needs and believe that you have the skills and experience to excel in this role, we would love to hear from you.
