Job Description

Renewals Coordinator - Estate Agent - Chelmsford based/Hybrid*Previous experience within Tenancy Renewals or another area of Residential Lettings is essential*Salary & Benefits:Basic salary circa £24,000-£26,000 per annum, depending on relevant experience, plus performance related bonuses. Realistic OTE of circa £25,000-£28,000 per annum.Hours of Work:Full-Time Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5:30pm, (no weekends). Recognised qualifications can also be achieved via a distance learning programme which is funded for the employees by the Company.An exciting opportunity for a Renewals Coordinator to join our busy Lettings team. This is a hybrid role working between our Head Office in Chelmsford and home. The successful candidate will fulfil a busy and important role within our business,liaising between landlords and tenants to ascertain if they want to renew their current tenancy for a further fixed term period, and if so, negotiating new levels of rent and any specific terms.Our staff are at the core of all that we do which is why we have an extensive rewards system to demonstrate our commitment to our staff.   • You will be responsible for negotiating the terms of a tenancy renewal with the Tenant and the Landlord.
  • Liaising with both parties to agree any new levels of rent or other specific terms outside of our standard tenancy agreement.
  • All negotiations are undertaken either by telephone or email, so candidates must be a confident and professional communicator.
  • Utilising our computer-based systems to ensure records are kept up to date.
  • Ensuring all parties are kept up to date, including fellow work colleagues.
Essential
  • Previous experience within Tenancy Renewals or another area or Residential Lettings is essential.
  • A proactive "can do" attitude, with exceptional organisational skills and capable of working efficiently to specific deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • IT proficient, you will be familiar with MS Office packages and able to learn quickly.
