We are looking to recruit an experienced Regional Training Manager who has a proven track record in the delivery of in house training which includes, driver CPC, driving assessments / coaching, Toolbox talks, vehicle equipment, in cab technology and operational procedures as per Company policy. You will therefore need to be an effective communicator and someone who keeps up to date with legislative changes and has a strong passion for delivering first class training as standard.Reporting into the National Training Manager you will cover all operational depots within Scotland and Northern Ireland, but may also be required to work outside of these regions on occasions.Main Duties:• Assist Transport Managers in the recruitment of new drivers, specifically technical skill set.• Conduct driver coaching, training and instruction of all Greenergy Flexigrid drivers ensuring that all strict time lines are adhered to.• Conduct Annual Driver CPC and PDP training courses ensuring all drivers meet with legal and industry requirements.• Conduct remedial and correction training as required.• Develop the fuel Tanker Driver Training to meet DODF, DCPC, SQA and all Flexigrid company procedures.• Maintain and monitor all Drivers Training records to ensure all legally, industry and company compliance requirements are current and up to date.• Support and provide cover for other Regional Training Managers when required.• Build strong working relationships with local transport managers and SHEQ officers and the wider Flexigrid business as required.Qualifications (Essential)Clean Driving LicenceLGV C+EADR Class 3 in TanksCurrent DCPCCurrent PDPMinimum 5 years Fuel Tanker ExperienceExcellent Communication SkillsQualifications (Desirable)SMITH / SAFED InstructorJaupt approved DCPC instructorSQA Accredited Instructor / AssessorPTLLS or equivalent Teaching / Training Instructor First Aid and Fire Marshall InstructorManual Handling CoachPeople are key to our continuing success; we work hard to reward, develop and retain staff.
