Facilities Maintenance Operative - GlasgowPay Rate – Upwards of £15 per hour35 hours per week 5 days thru 7 (some evening work on occasion)Are you a skilled and reliable worker who can perform a variety of upkeep tasks Do you have experience in any of the following, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping systems Do you enjoy working in a team and providing excellent customer serviceIf you answered yes to these questions, then you might be the perfect candidate for the Facilities Maintenance Operative position based in Glasgow. As a Facilities Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for:

Performing cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, etc.
Performing minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, etc.
Checking control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
Conducting general maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs etc.
Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
Checking functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
Collaborating with workers and other professionals onsite
Reporting any major facilities or maintenance issues up the line

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Worker or a similar position
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
Experience using hand and electrical tools
Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Physical stamina and dexterity
