Are you looking for a new opportunity in 2023Do you have experience in teaching English or Maths and are looking for some flexible tuition work supporting children on a 1 to 1 basisAt TP Tutors we have an exciting opportunity to help young children with achieving their academic goals within either Maths, English or both. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children and helping them achieve their goals.Therole will require someone who can create and plan exciting and engaging sessions to maximise the children’s potential withinnumeracy skills or reading, writing and comprehension.The role is based in Southwell and the surrounding areas, which is easily accessible via car or public transport and has links with other towns nearby. The location is dependent on the situation of the child, but this will be clarified beforestarting.What does an ideal Maths/English tutor look like

Experience of teaching Maths or English or working with children within the subject.
Range of experience working with children in different settings.
Ability to develop effective behaviour management strategies.
Apply skills to help children catch up and progress with their learning.
Able to track progress and plan next steps in children’s learning.
SEN experience is desirable but not essential.

To be successful in your application, you must be able to provide evidence of this as skills and experience.Please be aware that all applicants will be subject to background checks and will need a current DBS certificate (update service registered).
