Job Description

Job title: Senior Corporate Development ManagerLocation: Southwater (temporarily based from home due to COVID - Flexible working options available)Salary: circa £40,000 per annumHours: 35 hours a weekClosing Date: 10:00 Friday 13th November 2020Passionate about ending cruelty and promoting kindness to animalsJoin the RSPCA’s Corporate Partnership team. The RSPCA is the largest animal welfare charity in England and Wales.We have recently developed a new vision and strategy for our corporate partnerships. So this is an exciting time to be joining this fresh, innovative team and play a key role in making that happen.We are recruiting a Senior Corporate Development Manager to secure major corporate partnerships with a strategic focus worth between £100k and £1m+.What you’ll be doing:

  • Identify key priorities/challenges for RSPCA that can be developed into partnership opportunities.
  • Identify and research corporate prospects that have a brilliant fit with the RSPCA.
  • Secure meetings with prospects and deliver brilliant pitches.
  • Promote a partnership culture’ across the RSPCA by building and maintaining strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Work with the partnership management team to ensure a smooth and efficient handover of relationships.
  • What we’re looking for:
  • Strong experience of developing prospects and securing substantial new business in a charity setting.
  • Proven track record of achieving financial targets and developing NGO-Corporate partnerships.
  • Very strong experience of new business meetings and delivering pitches.
  • Excellent networking and business development skills.
  • Experience of generating leads
