Job Description

Job title: Business AnalystLocation: RSPCA SouthwaterSalary: £38,000 - £44,000 depending on skillsHours: 35 per weekClosing date: 10:00 Monday 27th April 2020We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analysts to join the RSPCA IT Department supporting our digital transformation agenda and delivering business analysis services for projects that help our employees and volunteers to promote the work of the RSPCA and prevent animal cruelty.This role is fundamental to the delivery of transformation for the Society. Working with other technical specialists such as Solution Architects, Delivery Leads and Programme / Project Managers, the Business Analysts deliver a wide range of analysis services, and support business decision making through provision of research, recommendations, conclusions and options.The scope of the work covers the full diversity of business domains across the Society, which include field operations, veterinary services, fundraising, HR, finance, digital, legal, commercial, marketing and communications. The breadth and depth of the work is varied depending on the service required, from very detailed in depth analysis to high level feasibility and approach work.What you’ll be doing:Working as trusted partners with stakeholders at all levels the Business Analyst is required to deliver the following services to consistently high standards:

  • Process Analysis
  • Stakeholder Analysis
  • Business Architecture
  • User Research
  • Data Analysis
  • Options Appraisal
  • Enterprise Analysis
  • Facilitation services
  • Business Change
  • You’ll have:
  • Education to degree level or equivalent
  • At least 4 years proven experience in a Business Analysis role
  • Professional certification in Business Analysis such as the BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or IIBA Certificate of Capability (CCBA)
  • an enthusiastic and proactive approach
  • strong technical business analysis skills
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with an ability
