Job Description

We are working in partnership with a globally recognised design and manufacturing company within the HVAC sector to recruit for an International Sales Manager. The role will hold responsibility for developing new revenue growth organically and via new sales channels within an allocated target area.To apply for this role you will be an instinctive sales professional, with an understanding of how to identify, nurture and close international sales. A passionate, energetic and determined Sales Manager, you will possess exceptionally high levels of self-motivation and be determined to succeed. You will understand the life-cycle of sales and be comfortable providing technical and commercial support to the business distribution and commercial partners, contractors and purchasers and Design Engineers.The role:

  • Track pipeline projects from early design to order; securing details of tender lists
  • Pursue projects at tender stage to ensure success in winning projects with tenders
  • Produce detailed monthly report on territorial activity
  • Be aware of competitor products and pricing to assist with the marketing strategy
  • Provide market feedback for new product development including pricing movements
  • Provide market information on other products that could be sold into the territory or customer base
  • Negotiate and establish standard discounts
  • Working with the Sales Director, negotiate specific project discounts to secure orders
  • Your experience will evidence sales success from the HVAC industry, gained over a minimum of 5 years within the sector together with demonstrable export sales knowledge. An understanding of air distribution products would be desirable. Ideally, you will hold a HNC, or equivalent, in Electro/Mechanical Engineering.
