We know that our people are our greatest asset and we have a vacancy for a Receptionist to join our Head Office in South Normanton.As a Head Office Receptionist you will be an integral member of the Front of House team delivering service excellence to all visitors and callers across our company. As the face of our business, you will greet key clients, suppliers and visitors, welcomingthem to our Head Office as well as being the main operator of an extremely busy switchboard, screening calls and directing callers to their destination, taking messages where needed and informing colleagues of the missed call.You will provide vital administrative support along with everyday tasks. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and Outlook will be critical to this role as will your ability to provide excellent customer service to both internaland external customers.SHIFTSMonday - Friday0830-1700DUTIES:

  • Manage a busy Telephone Switchboard; directing, screening calls, taking and relaying messages in a professional and timely manner
  • Greet visitors upon arrival, provide information, signing in, COVID induction and announce visitors to colleagues
  • Ensure knowledge of personnel whereabouts and maintain exact and complete sign-out/sign-in procedures for visitors and on-site staff; monitoring logbooks; issuing visitor badges
  • Sort outward mail including packages and incoming mail for distribution
  • Provide timely responses to queries or requests from customers, suppliers and public
  • Organise and arrange accommodation, transport and lunches as required for visitors and colleagues
  • Order and maintain stationery levels
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
  • Previous Reception / Front of House experience is essential
  • Experience of dealing with a busy Switchboard and Reception desk
  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proactive and the ability to work both within a team and on own initiative
  • An understanding, acceptance and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality
  • Professionally communicate with people at all levels
  • Ability to work without direct supervision and determine own workload priorities
  • Strong attention to detail
