This is a very exciting and progressive opportunity for a Mechanical Engineerlooking to progress within aleading Commercial Explosive Manufacturer in the UK. This is an onsite role based out of Alfreton, Derbyshire, Monday to Friday.The client is a market leader whose service provision spans multiple channels and applications. The Mechanical Engineerwill be in charge of maintenance and compliance of Mechanical plant and all associated systems.
Making sure plant is maintained to the highest standards minimising reactive jobs.
Contributing to improvement of the plant equipment to company regulated standards.
Ensuring that all mechanical equipment used on site complies the required industry standards.

The Mechanical Engineer will need to have:

Experience as Mechanical Engineerwith exposure to modern technology machinery, or pump machinery.
Time served qualification in Mechanical Engineering
General Plant and machine maintenance

Desirables:

Someone who can write and review maintenance procedures in line with manufacturer guidance.
Experience dealing with computerised maintenance systems.
Experience working on a COMAH Site.
