Job Description

Regional Facilities and Waste ManagerCompetitive salary /40 hours per weekMobile role with travel and overnight stays to help with new mobilisations and ongoing contract support.Were currently recruiting a dedicated Regional Facilities Manager to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Defence on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.As a Regional Facilities Manager, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. You would be responsible for the management and delivery of all types of cleaning provisions, waste management including recycling and clinical, general handyman/labouring services and pest control in line with the SFM contractual and company obligations. Ensurefull compliance at all times with KPI regime, health & safety processes and continually promote safe systems of work to all team members.   • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety procedures in line with legislation and company policy and procedures.
  • Manage and complete audit reports for cleaning standards and waste.
  • Own the Relationship with all locations within region through On-site inspections / Project Coordination ensuring a total ownership.
  • Build & maintain relationships with the client groups, specifically Waste Removal, Pest Control, Vehicle Management and Internal Commercial teams.
  • Actively monitor and ensure cost effective, timely response to emergency and urgent requests within approved Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Ensure adherence to all contractual requirements including site specific service streams.
  • Conduct routine on-site inspections to ensure clean, professional, well-maintained facilities that effectively represent the Company brand.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in facility management, project management, client relations, and budget development and management.
  • Identify the differing customer requirements through analysing trends in their feedback and select the appropriate company offering to deliver customer satisfaction.
  • Provide operational insight alongside strategic waste plans to maximise waste efficiencies and deliver client satisfaction.
  • Provides support to the Head of FM in the delivery of all soft FM projects and mobilisations within the agreed set periods.
  • Provides support to the sales teams with insight for operational sales bids for future growth of the business.
  • Support Operational teams to ensure the achievement of productivity targets and labour efficiencies in line with target operating models.
Our ideal Regional FacilitiesManager will have:Essential:
  • Experience of working in Soft FM industry including waste management.
  • An exceptional communicator and key influencer
  • Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
  • Degree/masters qualified in a relevant subject (e.g., environmental management) or achieved/working towards Corporate Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., CIWM or IEMA)
  • Managed senior level third party relationships
