Job Description

Walker Cole International is currently searching for a Production Manager to join a pharmaceutical CDMO that manufactures a broad range of clinical-stage investigational medicinal products in the South of Wales. Your primary responsibility as ProductionManager would be to manage the production of pharmaceutical drug products, labelling, and clinical supply packaging.As a Production Manager you will be responsible for:

  • You will lead production activities for pharmaceutical manufacturing of drug product and secondary manufacturing of clinical supplies.
  • Identifying, supporting, coaching, motivating, and helping to develop the skills of team members ensuring compliance with training for both new and current staff and therefore establishing a strong team and work culture.
  • As the Production Manager, you will provide training and development opportunities for your team, ensuring a high standard of quality, and supporting delivery of the teams KPIs.
  • Oversee the production planning activities ensuring release and despatching of clinical supplies to meet client demands.
To be a successful applicant for the Production Manager opportunity, you will have:
  • Experience leading or managing a team within the pharmaceutical industry
  • A degree or HND qualified in life sciences or a related field (preferred)
  • Manufacturing experience working in accordance with GMP
  • Strong people management and interpersonal skills
