Job Description

Accommodation AdvisorSalary: £24,900 per annum (Pro-rata)Part-Time RoleApproximately 18hrs per week, Flexible working PatternBased in HMP WinchesterThe Successful candidate will support Service Users gain access to suitable settled accommodation post-release.You will also be working alongside multiple partner agencies including the local authority Housing Strategy Team and Landlord Accreditation Scheme. The successful candidate will be covering Southampton and some cover at HMP Winchester.Duties

  • Proactively managing a caseload of Service Users
  • Supporting and moving Service Users in addressing their assessed needs
  • Preparing and agreeing individual action plans with the Service Users
  • Delivering Intervention Modules (1-2-1 and Group)
  • Providing intensive support to all Service Users on a one-to-one basis and in group settings dependent on the needs identified by the assessment.
  • Bespoke casework to meet individual needs.
  • Working with colleagues in partner agencies to achieve successful housing outcomes
  • Developing relationships with relevant providers and with Private Sector Landlords to widen the availability of appropriate accommodation options
  • Working with Support Providers to maximise opportunities for the service user group.
