Job Description

  • To ensure the daily, weekly, and monthly QA tasks are completed according to the schedule.
  • Assess product quality, packaging and labelling on intake, during packing and prior to dispatch.
  • Conduct traceability exercises whenever required in a timely manner.
  • Provide feedback to GGL/Production management across all operations.
  • Support GGL Production/Harvest Lead Workers in their roles and provide quality guidance for the Operations Teams.
  • Ensure that all finished goods meet quality standards as laid down in customer specifications and product standards.
  • File and archiving of all documentation, ensuring full accessibility for traceability exercises and supporting other enquiries during visits or audits.
  • Complete shelf-life assessment and analyse data.
  • Ensure that GMP standards are always followed.
  • Candidate Requirements
  • Food Safety L2
  • Some experience in the fresh produce /food sector
  • HACCP trained
  • Good communication and organizational Skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficient use of IT (Microsoft Excel, Word)
  • Self-starter with high initiative
  • Team Player and problem solver
  • Driving license
  • Hours of work: 40 hours/week – 5 days in 7 on a rota.
