Job Description

Meter TechnicianTH7055Soham/Newmarket/Thetford12 week temporary contract to start which will move onto a further 9 months FTC£11.94 - £12.99 per hour

Our client is currently recruiting a Meter Technician to join their fast-paced team based in Soham/Newmarket/ThetfordYour responsibilities will include:
  • Obtain accurate readings from water meters
  • Carry out meter exchanges(Full training will be provided)
  • Collectingmeterdata, this is a physically demanding role where you will walk 3 to 8 miles per day
  • Use of a handheld computer to carry out work
You will:
  • Have a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ideally have experience within a driving role. You will be provided with a uniform and a van
  • GCSEs C or above in English and Maths.
  • A current appropriate clean UK driving licence.
Working a37-hourweek.Yourhours are flexible between the working window of 6:30 to 20:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 to 14:00 on Saturdays this includes early morning starts and late evenings until 8pm.If you would like to learn more about this role, please call for more information on or alternatively email your CV for consideration.Please note that at times due to the volume of applications we may not be able to respond to each person individually.
