Job Description

About:The Team Leader is responsible for the overall on-site operations of the mobile test site, including oversight of initial geographical site set up, delivery of testing services, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocol and day-to-day workforce management. Reporting arrangement and close working relationship needed with the overall CCC quality and governance lead/operations manager.Responsibilities:

  • Opens and closes the site each day, ensuring safety procedures are followed and maintained
  • Makes the daily Go/No go on testing operations
  • Runs day to day operations including on-site workforce management
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to and maintained on site
  • Receives and manages stock
  • Ensure the promotion of good quality practice across the service delivery
  • Ensures adherence to SOP and clinical guidance is maintained throughout operations
  • Liaises with the quality and governance lead/operations manager within Cambridgeshire County Council and escalating risks and issues as required. Ensure that adverse incidents are reported internally and to the MHRA yellow card scheme
    • Skills and Experience:
  • Understanding the requirement for confidentiality
  • Some knowledge of Health & Safety
  • Good understanding of mobile phone devices and other digital equipment and systems used by the centre staff
  • Able to communicate clearly and sensitively with a wide range of people from the local population, some of whom will be nervous and anxious.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading a team, supervising staff, prioritising and scheduling workloads of team to deadlines, ideally in a healthcare setting
  • Experience overseeing an operational workforce and day-to-day people management
    • Additional Information:Hours:
  • Hours are 4 days on and 4 days off (up to 12 hours a day).Training will be provided online apart from 1/2 days where they will go on site to learn how to swab themselves (which will need to be done daily).
  • Candidates need flexibility to cover across hours/days.
