This is a highly varied role for one of the country’s leading fresh produce providers. From their many farms in the UK they grow, nurture, process, pack and distribute many of your favourite salad vegetables into all major supermarkets. Due to a recent restructure, a vacancy has become available in the compliance department. This area of the business focuses on technical compliance across all of their own & contracted supplier farms, factories & suppliers.The key two main duties of the role are supplier due diligence & pesticide approval & surveillance monitoring programmes.Managing compliance databases and provide information and support for sites during their audit processes.Work with the Procurement and Ethical teams with supplier development and relationship management.Maintain Greenlight database system for key supplier information and compliance data covering generic compliance (Assured Produce, Global GAP, LEAF, BRC, Organic), pesticide approvals & surveillance monitoring (PPPL’s, restricted & prohibited lists) and other internal and external information as required.Manage the raw material and product testing programme for fresh products covering product testing for compliance in pesticide residues, microbiological loading & provenance.
