Job Description

We are currently assisting our client, based on the outskirts of Cambridge, with the recruitment of a Cabling Technician / Installer. They are looking for someone ideally with electrical or cabling experience to join their team, however full training willbe given. Use of company van included with the option to take home. As a Cabling Technician/Installer you will be:

  • Travelling to sites in and around the Cambridge area
  • Running cables
  • Setting up and installation of access control, security, fire, AV and public address systems
  • Problem solving, replacement and repairs
  • Customer interaction
  • Dealing with subcontractors i.e. electricians
As a Cabling Technician/Installer you will have:
  • Cabling experience preferred
  • Experience within access control, security, fire, AV and public address systems preferred but not essential
  • Aptitude to learn and partake in training courses with the view to becoming a key member of the team
  • Flexible with regards to overtime
