Job Description

We are looking for an organised, numerate administrator to support our client for approximately 6 months while they transition from their current payroll system to a new integrated HR and payroll system.You will be supporting the HR and Finance team with various administration duties and data entry tasks to support the system transition.The client is able to offer flexibility on the working hours. The standard full time working hours would be Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm but the client is flexible and can offer a part-time option for a minimum of 3 days per week.Start: ASAPLocation: Soham, CambridgeshireDuration: 6-Month Fixed Term ContractSalary: up to £28,000 per annum depending on experienceHours: Monday - Friday 37 hours per (flexibility can be offered on the start and finish times with the core hours being 10am - 3pm, please see above)NOTE: Due to the nature of the business you will be required to undergo a DBS Check! This will be fully paid by the employer.Duties:

  • Assisting with the implementation of new payroll processes
  • Data entry on Excel and internal applications
  • Transferring data and data cleansing
  • Processing email requests from a shared inbox in a timely manner
  • Keeping the inbox tidy and ensuring all request have been responded to
  • Communicating effectively with staff to confirm information requirements
  • General administration support
Your background, Skills, and Attributes:
  • Organised and good attention to detail
  • Highly numerate with experience in data entry
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Efficient and confident to prioritise to meet fixed deadlines
  • Effective communication both oral and written
  • Enjoys improving process, and testing out new systems and workflows to achieve efficiencies
