Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Account Support to join our clients Commercial Team based in Barway, CambridgeshireThe companyis an incredibly exciting place to work, at the forefront of modern farming and food distribution means it’s fast-paced, stimulating, and rewarding. They work with the biggest food retail brands in the UK and Europe and want people who will do what’s right for the company and their customers.Role Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Process and distribute sales orders internally in a timely and accurate manner
  • Amend orders as requested by production and commercial teams (quantity increases or decreases, despatch site changes, case count changes, layer or pallet rounding, PO number or Fcode changes) and log these amendments to facilitate service level reporting
  • Manage end-to-end process for each sales order received ensuring that any amendments are communicated internally and externally as appropriate
  • Book distribution services required to fulfil customer sales orders through the pre-formatted booking processes (Excel, e-mail or web portal)
  • Plan, input and process orders for direct deliveries from Spain as appropriate
  • Complete and circulate new line forms, set up new Fcodes in JD Edwards and amend information set up for existing Fcodes as required
  • Investigate and resolve EDI errors
  • Investigate returns and unknown shortages (545s) in a timely manner
  • Provide continuity between the week and weekend Account Support teams and report any important information and issues between teams
  • Ensure supply chain guidelines are followed as per customer requirements
  • Support the wider commercial team with the set up and coordination of customer visits and sample arrangements
  • Work with the wider commercial team to develop and refine current processes and procedures to deliver efficiencies
  • Work closely with the Account Support team to complete key tasks to help cover annual leave and support during busy periods

  • Team Player
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft programmes, in particular Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Driver’s licence required
  • Hours of work: 40 hours/week – Saturday and Sunday plus 3 weekdays to be agreed
