Job Description

Theywork with the biggest food retail brands in the UK and Europe and want people who will do what’s right for them and theircustomers.Role Requirements & ResponsibilitiesComplete administrative duties within the Commercial Team and support the Commercial Team in delivering agreed account strategy (budgeted val&vol sales/profitability targets, sales & marketing plans, customer KPI’s and relationship building) as well as product launches.Order Processing & JDE Management

  • Process and distribute sales orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage the end-to-end process for each sales order received ensuring any amendments are communicated (internally and externally) and logged as appropriate, such as depot splits, case counts, quantity increase/decreased and branch plant changes
  • Book distribution services required to fulfill sales orders through pre-formatted booking processes (Excel/email)
  • Input and process orders for direct deliveries from Spain as appropriate
  • Enter agreed prices into JDE and check prices on a weekly basis through Qlikview report
  • Set up and new Fcodes and amend information set up for existing Fcodes as required
  • Investigate and resolve EDI errors
  • Standard Weekly Tasks
  • Communicate confirmed prices with the customer (Excel/web-based systems)
  • Liaise with customer supply chain teams and internal teams about forecasted sales and update forecasting tools with daily and weekly forecasted sales (volume and price) to maintain forecast accuracy
  • Maintain promotion calendars and complete and circulate internal promotion forms
  • Complete and circulate item inventory forms for new or amended Fcodes
  • Navigate and extract relevant data from customer data sites as appropriate
  • Plan weekly volumes for direct deliveries from Spain as appropriate
  • Compile and manipulate actual/forecasted sales data from JDE/Qlikview/TXT for analysis
  • Investigate returns, rejections, unknown shortages and debit notes in a timely manner
  • Complete credit notes for sign off as required
  • Other Periodic Activities
  • Set up and coordinate customer visits (such as displays, logistics, refreshments)
  • Order samples and arrange transportation to the destination
  • Add and receipt purchase orders on POP
  • Manage the end-to-end process for the internal and external set up of new lines
  • Arrange product samples for Brandbank
  • Ensure supply chain guidelines are followed as per customer requirements
  • Lead a weekly product benchmarking session on a rota’ed basis (sample collection, session delivery and write up) as appropriate
  • Work with the wider commercial team to develop and refine current processes and procedures to deliver efficiencies
  • Work closely with the Account Support team to complete key tasks to help cover annual leave across the team and out of hours order processing on a rota’ed/cover basis as appropriate

  • Proficient with Microsoft programmes, in particular, Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Driver’s licence required
  • Hours: 40 hours/week – Monday-Friday
