Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Warehouse Operative/Delivery Driver to join our team at our Newmarket office based at Lynx Business Park, Snailwell, CB8 7NY. We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic person to join our friendly team. This is a full-time, permanent position.Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative Responsibilities:

  • Picking, processing and preparing orders, ready for delivery
  • Delivering multi-drop orders to our customers using our company van
  • Ensuring the van is kept roadworthy by reporting any accidents or repairs
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Delivering excellent customer service, following BPX standards
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results
  • Any other duties requested by the Manager.
    • Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a warehouse
  • Experience of multi-drop deliveries
  • Outgoing, positive and professional attitude
  • Good day to day planning capabilities, this will be essential for the candidate to be successful in this role
  • Able to meet deadlines and follow through on commitments
  • Conscientious with good attention to detail
  • Polite, trustworthy and reliable at all times
  • Full clean UK driving licence preferred
  • Good electrical knowledge is desirable
