Job Description

Service Care Legal recruitment are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Family Law Caseworker to join a well established and thriving Legal Team based in Birmingham. If you currently specialise in Family Law and are looking to take the nextstep in your career, then this might be the next move for you.Role: Family Law CaseworkerSalary: £21,000 - £28,000 plus bonus package which could increase salary to £40,000 - £50,000Location: BirminghamThe Role:

  • Deal with all areas of Family Law casework from start to completion.
  • Dealing with divorce, finance, private matters, children act work and non-molestation orders.
  • Deal with, on average, 2- 4 new cases on a daily basis with minimal support
  • Manage professionally and confidentially, written and telephone correspondence with clients, other solicitors and third parties
The Candidate:
  • Someone with a minimum of 2+ years recent experience of working in a similar Family Law Caseworker role
  • Ideally someone with a Law Degree or LPC although relevant experience is also actively considered
  • Due to the existing client base, language skills such as Urdu and Punjabi are ideal but not essential
