Job Description

Pay: KR8Start Date: 1/9/20 or as soon after as possibleSissinghurst VA Primary School is a small Church of England Primary School, set in the heart of a lovely Kentish village. Our community is welcoming and supportive.We are very excited to be developing the administrative team at our village school. We are looking for a dynamic, innovative and suitably experienced individual for the post of School Business Manager, to work as part of the Senior Leadership Team.The role is being advertised as full time but will initially start as a 4 day a week role to be re-evaluated in December and possibly extended to 5 daysThis post requires strategic leadership and management of the operational business of the school to provide best value and further enhance the effectiveness of the school. The role will encompass all aspects of the schools finances and administration as well as personnel, site and contracts management. The post holder will line manage a small team, including the caretaker. The successful candidate will be flexible, efficient and sensitive, adopting a confidential approach to the role at all times. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential and an extensive and authoritative knowledge of business management is vital.We can offer you:
