We are looking for a pro-active and energetic individual who thrives in a challenging SME environment, interacting with internal & external customers & suppliers and being part of a dynamic Technical Services Team. You will have a proven track record of logistics, project administration & purchasing within a high quality and safety environment delivering services to Corporate and Government clients and a genuine interest in technology.The role will be part time based initially, but we expect this to transition to full time in the near future.Monday - Friday 10:00hrs - 14:00hrs (with flexibility when required)Required Competencies:• Efficiency - Able to produce significant output with minimal wasted effort• Organisation & planning - Plans, organises, schedules in an efficient, productive manner. Copes effectively with complexity & change.• High level of existing experience of IT systems and MS Excel, Word, Databases, Visioetc. (specific system training will be provided)• Experienced and efficient user of computer-based ERP systems (stock control, deliveries, project accounting etc.)• The ability to communicate effectively & efficiently• Eye for detail• Self-Motivated / work under own initiative• Ability to work effectively under time pressures.• Full UK driving licence.Desirable Qualifications/Experience Required:• IOSH• Technical project administration• Purchasing experience• Asset database management• Providing professional customer support services• Stores & logistics experience within a technical delivery environmentSpecific Responsibilities:• Responsible for all deliveries inbound and outbound, including maintaining accurate logs of all goods in and out. Dispatch freight for delivery and arrange for pickups, record shipment data such as weight, charges and damages.• Completion of shipping documentation; Commercial Delivery Notes, Customer Agreement forms & Return notes working with customers and suppliers.• Rectify problems such as damages, shortages and non-conformance to specifications• Administer documentation for project equipment, including expected arrival dates, serial numbers & locations etc.• Assist with the completion & submission of Risk Assessment & Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure full compliance with all relevant health & safety legislation (both company and client)• Assist the Technical Team with product/equipment sourcing and ordering, working with the purchasing team and with the installation team to determine requirements• Tracking delivery dates for all components and updating internal systems• Responsible for booking travel arrangements including flight bookings and checking vehicle availability for the company pool vehicles• Assist Project Managers in completing and maintaining project documentation in accordance with ISO & Prince II standards• Liaising with clients, sub-contractors and the technical team• Responsible for the day to day running of the company pool vehicles to include monitoring of all maintenance logs and certifications• Logistical planning, liaising, booking and delivery of all company projects (both customer & internal)• Completion of audits for ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 certifications• Prepare agendas and schedule technical and project meetings as required• Coordinate repairs of technical tools and maintain the company register in accordance with regulations. Maintain company PPE and equipment• Coordinate repairs and maintenance for the building• Coordinate demonstration equipment and exhibition and show set ups and displays• Maintain and update the company health & safety policy, procedures and documentation as requiredWhat we offer:Basic £8.65-£10.50 per hour (based on experience) + overtime + team performance bonus, 20 days holiday (pro-rata) + Bank Holidays + Perkbox• Full systems training• Ongoing skills training• Full team engagement where input will help us achieve our ambitious growth plans• Modern office environment• Company parking• Excellent career progression for the right candidate
