Job Description

Citrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting for a Sales and Marketing Administrator for a family run business based in Solihull.You will be working in a small friendly office and supporting the sales team with all administration duties whilst having responsibility for growing the marketing side of their business.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for progression, with a progression route there into a more Senior Marketing role for the right person.Responsibilities & day to day duties As a Sales Support Administrator there will be two parts to your role:Sales Administration Support:

  • Handle daily administrative tasks to support the sales team.
  • Track samples with the sales team and customers, ensuring timely delivery and follow-up.
  • Generate and process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and send quotations to customers, addressing enquiries and providing necessary information.
  • Prepare and present reports for the sales team and customers
  • Interact with customers and suppliers, building relationships and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Marketing Support:
  • Manage and update websites, ensuring accurate and engaging content.
  • Create content for various channels including social media, email marketing, newsletters, leaflets, and presentations.
  • Actively manage social media accounts, engaging with followers and promoting brand awareness.
  • Conduct research on market trends to identify opportunities for new product development and marketing strategies.
Skills & experience required.
  • Experience in a Sales Support/ Administrative role
  • Proficiency in web-based applications and high competence with various office-based computer packages.
  • Knowledge of Sage software would be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Some understanding/ interest in marketing
